Céline Dion collection hits Asia via Tmall

Canadian handbag, luggage and accessories manufacturer The Bugatti Group has teamed up with Alibaba Group to distribute the Celine Dion Collection via its Tmall platform in Asia.

The partnership will allow The Bugatti Group to reach the Asian market through Tmall.com, which has over 500 million monthly active users. It’s the largest business-to-consumer platform to reach consumers in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. 
 
In fact, the ecommerce platform controlled the largest share of retail ecommerce sales in China in Q2 2017, at 51.3 percent.

“We are proud of our new partnership with Tmall.com Asia, this is a big step to the growth of our Global distribution,” said Andrew Hattem CEO of The Bugatti Group, in a news statement. 
 
The Céline Dion Collection, which is described as “effortlessly chic with a touch of greatness”, launched last September.
 
A special leather collection called Harmonic was especially designed and released for the Tmall launch. Other Céline Dion collections now available on Tmall.com include Adagio, Minuet and Libretto.  
 
Dion has won the hearts of many throughout her 30-year music career, but most recently she has been making the fashion pages thanks to her new look created by stylist Law Roach.
 
It was announced in February 2017 that the Canadian singer would work with Montreal’s The Bugatti Group to create a line of handbags, luggage and small leather goods. The collection includes over 200 items.
