Christopher & Banks appoints former Chico's exec as SVP, CFO

Women's apparel and accessories chain Christopher & Banks announced Richard Bundy as its new senior vice president and chief financial officer. Bundy will lead finance and accounting, as well as distribution and logistics.

In a release, Keri Jones, president and chief executive officer of Christopher & Banks, highlighted Bundy's "strong specialty retail background, including his extensive financial planning and analysis as well as operations experience", explaining how these skills will bring value to the company and its strategic initiatives.

Bundy spent the past 10 years at Chico's FAS, Inc, where he most recently held the role of VP, brand finance and strategy. Prior to Chico's, he was a financial analyst at Limited Brands, Inc. and Albertson's Inc.

Bundy holds a B.S. in Business Management from Montana State University and his MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University.

Bundy's appointment is effective July 9, 2018. The company's interim CFO, Marc Ungerman, will continue in his role as vice president, controller.

Christopher & Banks is a Minneapolis, MN-based retailer with 461 stores in 45 states. It operates in-line and outlet stores as well as a plus-size division called CJ Banks. The company also operates an e-commerce site.
