Gucci to launch first Décor collection exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman

Gucci in July announced the debut of its first home goods collection, Gucci Décor, and on Tuesday announced that Bergdorf Goodman will be the first retailer to launch the collection.

The collection, which launches at Bergdorf on September 6 to coincide with NYFW, is comprised of furniture, furnishings and small porcelain pieces that draw inspiration from the Italian atelier’s fashion collection.

Bergdorf will debut the Alessandro Michele-designed collection with a special temporary installation on the 7th floor, a complimentary installation in the women’s ready-to-wear shop on the 2nd floor and special window displays to celebrate the launch and collaboration.

The Gucci Décor installation is set to feature five different wallpapers from the collection, as well as decorative folding screens and a jacquard vanity seat and wooden chairs. In addition, the luxury retailer’s windows will transform to showcase the latest Gucci collection and the first Gucci Décor collection.
 
Following the launch at Bergdorf Goodman, Gucci Décor will launch at Gucci flagship stores and online in September.
