ID Logistics opens a logistics centre for Yves Rocher in Moscow

ID logistics is boosting the Russian growth of Yves Rocher. The logistics operator inaugurated on 16 October a new centre for the French brand to manage the flow of stores and distance selling, in particular e-commerce.

The plant will also manage Yves Rocher's full range of e-commerce services, which is around 6,000 orders per day. This includes receipt of goods, storage, picking, order preparations, loading and return management, as well as certain value-added services such as copacking and re-labeling.

This new platform increases the number of centres managed by ID Logistics in Russia to seven. The company arrived in Russia in 2013 and currently has about 1,000 employees. Auchan, Metro, Mvideo (Russia's leading consumer electronics retailer), Bacardi and the X5 Retail Group (the leading Russian food retailer with 11,000 stores) have all collaborated with the operator.

Directed by Eric Hémar, the company recorded a turnover in 2016 of 1.07 billion euros. ID Logistics has 290 facilities in 16 countries and has 19,000 employees.
