Model Karlie Kloss to receive Inspiration Award

(Relaxnews) - Model Karlie Kloss has been confirmed as the recipient of this year's Inspiration Award, which will be handed to her at the eighth annual DVF Awards next month.

The event, created in 2010 by fashion maven Diane von Furstenberg and the Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation, aims to recognize and support extraordinary women who are dedicated to transforming the lives of other women, with The Inspiration Award given to those using their experience and influence to effect positive change.

In addition to modelling, 24-year-old Kloss is the founder of Kode with Klossy — a company which helps to engage, empower and prepare women and girls to learn computer code — and has also partnered with Momofuku Milk Bar on a cookie line known as Klossies benefitting FEED Foundation and the CFDA.

The 2017 DVF Awards will take place on April 6 at the United Nations in New York.
