Retail concept Reign opens New York store with Samsung

Reign, the lifestyle brand and curated retail concept by Santino LoConte, will open on Thursday a physical retail location with Samsung, located at 807 Washington Street in New York City.

The 1,600-square-foot Meatpacking District store carries luxury and contemporary labels such as Balmain, Rick Owens, A.P.C., Undercover, Public School, and Tim Coppens among others. The interior features whitewashed exposed brick walls and Versailles parquet white concrete floors, as well as a courtyard and a 12-foot circular skylight that serves as the focal point.

The brand partnered with Samsung to integrate its Meatpacking District store with Samsung electronics that use sound and visual technology shopping systems.

The partnership between Reign and Samsung is not the Korean electronics company’s first foray into fashion. The company has been a sponsor for New York Fashion Week and its Fashion Group is currently in partnership with Balmain, Comme des Garçons, Thom Browne, Rick Owens and Issey Miyake.

While Samsung Fashion Group provides back-office support systems for some of the top brands in the fashion industry, the company provides only its shopping system to Reign for a content-driven retail experience.
 
Reign will be open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 7pm and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.

Founded in 2017, Reign operates an online store and a content platform in addition to its New York City store.
