Snipes to open new store in Amersfoort

German streetwear chain Snipes will open a new store in the Dutch city of Amersfoort on 7 December. The 242 m2 shop will be located at Langestraat 6 in a building that formerly housed Jack & Jones.

Snipes is a multi-brand chain offering collections for men, women and children. Available brands at the retailer include: Asics Tiger, Dickies, Ivy Park, Timberland and Under Armour. The collections consist of footwear, accessories and clothing ranging from coats to denim and dresses to underwear.

Snipes also produces clothing under its own co-ed label targeted at young people. The collections include hoodies, sweatpants, gloves, caps, bags and iPhone cases, with prices ranging from €2.99 for a set of sneaker laces to €99.99 for a coat.

In 1998 Snipes launched in Germany and opened a store in Essen, announcing its plans to enter the Dutch market in 2014. A year later it landed its first stores in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and now has 10 branches across the Netherlands. In total, the retailer has more than 170 shops in Europe and a web store. In addition to Germany and the Netherland, its markets include Austria, Switzerland, Spain and Italy.
