Top cricket star endorses Tissot watches

International cricket star Virat Kohli has just signed on as Swiss luxury watchmaker Tissot’s male brand ambassador for India.

The announcement was made in Mumbai where Kohli commented, “Tissot is a brand that is recognized for its precision and I also hold that very close to my performances. A watch is about the only accessory I love wearing and I am so happy that Tissot is what I will be wearing now. I am looking forward to our journey together.”

Kohli is a youth icon across India and for the sport, exuding style and confidence synonymous with Tissot’s luxury watches. Kohli is known as an “expert batsman”, having won the historic 2011 World Cup with his teammates. He currently leads the Indian test cricket team, and is seen as a trendsetter both on and off the field.

Kohli joins reigning Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who has been a Tissot brand ambassador since 2007.

Padukone commented from Toronto, “I would like to welcome Virat to the Tissot family! I think he completely defines the Tissot man and I look forward to our association together as Tissot Ambassadors.”
