Dutch fashion retailers are showing better results after a number of hard years. Chains are benefitting from the Netherlands’ economic recovery and reaping the rewards of adapting to changing consumer behaviour.
Retailer C&A is expanding its recycling program ‘We Take it Back’ to Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Launched in 2012 in the Netherlands, the initiative has already collected 278,000 kilos of unwanted clothing.
Danish label Amazing Jewelry will be entering the Dutch market. The retailer will be opening its first store in Utrecht at Hoog Catharijne Mall next month and additional shops are also planned to open later this year.
On Friday, lingerie retailer Hunkemöller revealed its first Dutch HKMX sportswear store. The shop, which is located at Utrecht’s Hoog Catharijne mall, is fully dedicated to the retailer’s sports collection.
