New Balance moves to the Pentagon

New Balance has opened a store in the Pentagon, Washington DC, where the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense is located. An area of 334 sq.m. in which New Balance's footwear, apparel and accessories collections are presented.

This shop contains the elements of the brand's heritage and history. The place also aims to be environmentally responsible with design features made from recyclable materials. Situated within the Pentagon Concourse shopping area, it is accessible by both local employees and the public.

"We are very honoured to be one of the stores selected to be located in the Pentagon," says Stephanie Smith, Vice-Chairman of New Balance retail.

It must be said that New Balance is one of the official suppliers to the U.S. Army, providing them with footwear and clothing. The label remains one of the only sports shoe brands that still manufactures their shoes in the United States.
