O'Neill diversifies and launches eyewear. O'Neill and Orange 21, a specialist in action sports products, have signed a worldwide license agreement for the design and development of O'Neill Eyewear.

A "natural" diversification according to Michael Neil, Global director of O'Neill development and licensing, results in O'Neill's sunglasses line already being sold in stores now and a line of ski/snowboard goggles which will be revealed at from August.
Products will range from 70-120 Euros and will be distributed in O'Neill stores and amongst its distribution network.
