Olivier Saillard is the new artistic consultant of Pitti Immagine

The collaboration between fashion curator, historian and performer Olivier Saillard and Florentine show organiser Pitti Immagine continues. Saillard has been signed up by Pitti Immagine as its new Artistic Consultant, tasked with creating a series of cultural and promotional events focused on the world of fashion.

 
Saillard worked with Pitti Immagine and the Pitti Discovery Foundation in the past, curating special projects like the “Vestirsi da Uomo” menswear event in 2011 and the “Il Museo Effimero della Moda” fashion history exhibition last year.
 
Saillard has also been asked by the Pitti Discovery Foundation to curate the menswear exhibition scheduled at Palazzo Pitti in Florence from June to October 2019, in collaboration with the Museo della Moda e del Costume museum.

Olivier Saillard was the director of the Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris (the fashion museum of the city of Paris) from 2010 until last January, when he was appointed Creative Director of J.M. Weston.
